Powerful and tasty licorice root powder. Use it to sprinkle on ice cream or dessert, in cakes or add a teaspoon to a cup of boiling water for licorice tea. Please note that this is the raw and pure powder of the licorice root and not extracted licorice powder.
The licorice root is collected in northern Afghanistan, cleaned, processed and peeled 50% before being powdered, resulting in a very pure product with a high content of licorice flavor.
Licorice root from Afghanistan is some of the best in the world due to the climate and cultivation in the mountains.
Produced by the company SHADIAN in Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan. The licorice production was certified organic in March 2022, in collaboration with warfair, but the goods are not yet imported organically and with an organic label.
The production provides jobs and income for both women and men.
The licorice root powder is imported, tested and packaged in collaboration with Lakrids by BĂĽlow .
