Finally! Goods from Syria!
For 15 years, Syria has been extremely hard-hit by war, oppression, poverty, and sanctions. It has been impossible for us to import goods from Syria.
Now the old regime has been overthrown, a transitional government is in place, and the sanctions have been lifted. After many months of effort in close cooperation with the newly established company Levantina Global, we can now present three unique products from Syria:
Aleppo Pistachios - known as Syria's "green gold" and among the world's finest pistachios.
Flower and Herbal Tea from Damascus - the traditional soothing Syrian herbal tea, Zhorat, with a total of 11 flowers and herbs.
Aleppo Soap - one of the world's oldest natural soaps made from pure olive oil, laurel oil, water, and lye and - unlike many other Aleppo soaps - made in Aleppo!
We are truly delighted with these three products! It has been challenging and costly. We hope you are eager to taste and try them. The most important thing right now for the people of Syria is work and income - and the hope we can create by trading with them.
