Aleppo soap is one of the world's oldest natural skincare products, handmade in the city of Aleppo, Syria, using a centuries-old process. The soap is made from pure olive oil, laurel oil, water, and lye and is traditionally aged to perfection, resulting in a gentle yet cleansing hand soap that nourishes and protects the skin.
Naturally antibacterial and suitable for all skin types, Aleppo soap offers a luxurious, chemical-free alternative for daily cleansing and a tribute to a craft passed down through generations.
It contains no artificial additives, perfumes, parabens, or animal fats – making it a pure choice for both sensitive and dry skin. Suitable for daily use by the whole family and for skin that is easily irritated or reacts to ordinary soap.
Unlike many other Aleppo soaps, our Aleppo soap is actually produced in Aleppo, Syria, by the small company Knooz al-Balad with local artisans. We import it in collaboration with the startup Levantina Global, founded by former White Helmets employees.
Trade contributes to income and employment in Syria, where up to 90% of the population lives in poverty after more than 10 years of war and oppression.
