Afghanistan is known for its unique, high-quality almonds. We have three different Afghan almonds:
Shakhurbai almonds: They have a nutty flavor and are crunchy and delicious. Available as raw or roasted/salted in 100 g and 1 kg, and as roasted and salted in snack bags of 30 g. Perfect for snacks or food.
Gurbandi almonds: One of Afghanistan's most famous almonds, with a sweet taste and light color. Available raw in 30g and 100g. They grow naturally in the central part of Afghanistan. Use them in salads, desserts, in muesli or simply as snacks. See and hear the powerful story and tribute to the Gurbandi almonds from Abdulrab Qasimi, an Afghan refugee from Ghorband, who came to Denmark in 2001.
Satarbai almonds: Raw in shells, available as 100 g or 1 kg. They are Afghanistan's very special and highly valued almonds. They have unique soft shells that can be cracked by hand or with a nutcracker. Ideal for snacks. Can be peeled and sprouted into almond trees, read more here.
