Aleppo pistachios, often called Syria's "green gold," are among the world's finest pistachios. They are praised for their beautiful color, rich flavor, and natural sweetness. Grown in Aleppo's fertile soil and sunny climate, they are hand-picked and traditionally dried to preserve their distinctive taste and aroma.
Aleppo pistachios are rich in healthy fatty acids, protein, and minerals and are suitable both as a luxurious snack and as a delicious addition to desserts, cakes, salads, and oriental dishes. Beyond their excellent taste, they are a symbol of Syrian heritage and craftsmanship – bringing the authentic taste of the Levant to the table.
The pistachios come from the family business Al Imam in Aleppo, which purchases from local small farms. We import them in collaboration with the newly established company Levantina Global, founded by former employees of the White Helmets.
Trade contributes to income and employment in Syria, where up to 90% of the population lives in poverty after more than 10 years of war and oppression.Â
