The lanterns combine the historical craftsmanship of Yemen with modern design and technique. The beautiful patterns and the fine cotton fabric create a unique lighting experience.
The lanterns are made from the silversmith Ahmed Antique in the old town in the capital Sana'a, but production had virtually completely ceased during the war. In cooperation with Yemen Journey we have gotten the production going again and at the same time integrated a modern solar cell lamp from Little Sun in the historical lanterns.
They can be used with both a solar cell lamp (included) or with candles (though not simultaneously).
Available in two designs:
ZABID with agate stones
SHEBA (no stones)
