Cheap quality saffron

Our saffron from Afghanistan is not only one of the best, it is also one of the cheapest:
49 kroner for 1 gram of Negin saffron in quality A with a color strength of over 250.

Unlike a lot of saffron in Denmark, where you also get the yellow parts from the stamen, here you only get the red parts from the anthers of the Crocus flowers, which give the strong saffron color and flavor.
It is the red gold of Afghanistan.
Now that Christmas is approaching, saffron will be needed for Lucia bread - and of course for risotto, paella, aioli, bouillabaisse and chicken with rice :-)

Our first shipment of organic Medjoul dates sold out in less than a week! So we immediately ordered a whole pallet of almost 700 kilos.
