A success story from Burkina Faso

A cashew nut is not just any cashew nut! Our cashew nuts are labeled w320, which means they are light, whole, large, and of high quality.

A mango is also not just any mango. Our dried mangoes are of the Brooks variety, which has a mild and sweet taste and a moderate amount of fiber without being stringy. And unlike many dried mangoes, they contain no added sulfur or sugar!

But quality is not the only reason to buy our two products from Burkina Faso. They are also fairtrade certified, which means that both farmers and factory workers receive fair wages. They are organically certified, which protects both nature and the environment. And the shells from the cashew nuts are used to create energy for drying the mangoes, making them very climate-friendly.

Most importantly, they come from a company, Gebana, which insists on investing and creating jobs in a country severely affected by conflict and extreme poverty. They have just built a new, modern factory and hired 120 additional employees! That's really well done.
